transcription 2

so i have been working on this transcription for like two weeks now, finally finished!!!. i decided to make this rosette out of the official suffragette colours and instead of  the middle being the like 1st, 2nd or 3rd I'm putting the griffin from whistle jackets owners (Charles Watson) coat of arms in their, played about with it in photo shop to make it look like it had been stamped on to it. i think it looks really good!!

i decided to do this because its not so literal and i just think it works really well. to who ever views it just looks like a normal rosette and you would not think anything of it but the story behind the piece makes it what it is.

I'm finding myself more and more intrigued by pieces like this that have a really good story behind them or political reference's i think it just takes the art to a whole different level.

with regards to my idea development i must admit Ive not documented it so well with this task but that's a learning curve. i now know to literally write down every idea i have and document every bit of art i do with in the journey to the final piece

sorry theirs no pictures i will get some up over the next few days for you
